Purely for decent home cinema - not too worried about stereo

for no more than £600 working on basis of limited space for amp and speakers must be small, stylish and sound good which would people go for

Acoustic-Energy P5 with its little decoder box (had good reviews)
    http://www.aego2.acoustic-energy.co.uk/aego5/aego5.html
    £600 from sevenoakes
    or

Yamaha 620/630 amp and Klegg 5.01's
    http://www.klegg-audio.co.uk/klegg2/klegg.php
probably get for under £600 from richer sounds

Does anyone own any of these?

Any advice, comments welcome, constructive that is :)

    thanks Matt

The ageo p5 is supposed to be very good and it does look the business. Personaly I wouldn't bother with the klegg system on reviews I have read but checking it out won't hurt.

The golden rule is go and get a demo as everybodys taste in sound is different, If possible with the DVD player you have or are thinking about. Also don't just listen to action films during your demo try some subtle stuff to.

We'll I opted for the P5's after having a demo at sevenoakes - awesome sound spread and quality from speakers that fit in your hand - fantastic.

If anyone needs a small/discrete setup I highly recommend these.

and the processor looks great :)

    Thats good news.:D

There are normaly quite a few people that are looking for a small system like the ageo P5. It's good to know that it's as good as the reviews say it is, and it's something we can recomend in the future.:)

Now you be spending loads of money on disks to show it off.

I think the most surprising thing (apart from the weight of the speakers - very heavy) is just how loud this thing can go - during the demo I kept checking the leads to make sure it wasn't being fed through an amp!
