    Hi

Is there any reason why you cant find a 32" rear projection TV? I need to upgrade my TV, which sits in a cabinet (max width 82cm so it will fit a 32" without speakers on the side). Seeing that I have all the space in the back of the cabinet it seems silly to limit myself to LCD and Plasma.

    Any suggestions?????

No such thing as a small RPTV. There's not really much point, I guess. RPTVs were initially (and so, probably still are) seen as a convenient way to exceed the maximum theoretical size of a direct view CRT set (which is somewhere around 36 inch diagonal) so RPs start, understandably, at 42 inch. Sony made a 37 some years ago but not any more. Their smallest is 42.

So, if you want to fill up your gap, CRT is your choice.
If you want perfect geometry, convergence, stability and low power consumption, then LCD or Plasma. If you want absolutely guaranteed freedom from screen burn, then direct view LCD or ditch the cabinet and go for a bigger LCD or DLP rear-pro.

    Those are your choices.
