I'm also looking for a small mp3 player for my wife for holiday to hold around 200-300 songs and have good sound quality with bass and go pretty loud?
    Thanks

I have this one from SVP. It is the size of a matchbox and uses a SD/MMC card to store the songs. It can take up to a 1GB card.

It is only £19.99 for the player and around £15 for a 256MB card.

It has auto scan radio on the headphones.

Files are transferred by USB through a cable that is plug and play with XP (no software or driver is needed). A driver is supplied for win98.

The only thing that is missing is a album skip button. So, if you want track 20, you have to press skip 19 times.
