My mother is moving to a small apartment and would like a TV but does not have room for a conventional TV - so would like a flat panel. I have just stopped her paying £999 to currys for a Hitachi 22" and have promised

    1) Better price

    2) Good purchasing advise (From my previous experience)

As Mum is geeting a bit Deaf integrated audio is important

Does anyone have experience of the Hitachi or any similar smallish screens??

Thanks in advance for any help available :smashin:

You could consider a PC monitor and a Trust PC TV Pop View tuner box.

Then you would have the luxury of choosing any speakers you wish, and any size screen.

I use one of these configurations in the bedroom, and it works very well.

The Pop View has a composite input for DVD/Video and an analog tuner built in.
