I've recently bought an apartment in Manchester to stay at during the week as both my wife and myself work there and the travelling was becoming too much, however I'm missing my cinema back at home so am thinking of converting the second bedroom to a "microplex" however it is only 9ft by 8ft so I guess the max screen width would be about 5ft wide. Has anybody any experience of using a room this small.

Waste of time IMO. Let the wife decorate the second bedroom anyway she wants. Then you get to work on the livingroom.
