Smack! Ouch! A patio door in the way of my face!

On my way into our conservatory.....well, guess what? :suicide:

Correct. The door was closed and not open! :nono::thumbsdow

Smack! Ouch! Again! Grrrrr! "&$^&£&*$%!":mad:

How dare that be? Who would have thought it?:confused:

Anyone any brilliant ideas as to how best to tell that a totally invisible glass patio door is 'there' rather than 'not there'? :lesson:

:lease:

This is why a lot of places have sandblasted patterns in their glass around eye level. Maybe you could do a bit of DIY on your door.

Pretty stickers or frosted glass plastic strips/stickers, this can actually look really good if done right

First thing is checking that no one saw you do it.

frosted window film ...Just typed that into google images and there is loads of cool things you can make

You can get stickers that are intended to prevent birds flying into them.

Thanks for the suggestion. The solution does have to be to do with something like this but the door is inside the house and in between the lounge and the conservatory.

A butterfly might be more appropriate than a 'wild bird'. Albeit, that thinking about 'wild birds' does linger somewhat towards the further reaches of my imagination. However, Mrs Begonia would not like my best idea and might tear her image down.

Mrs B so far.....

1. Is the door damaged?

2. Did it hurt?

Grrrrrrrr! ;)

Look at the handle - if it's in the "closed" position it's closed :D

Did you have your drink in your hand or did you put it down first?
