I'm looking for an entry-level AV receiver. However, it needs to be a slimline unit, as I only have a gap measuring 10cm high and 38cm deep in my TV unit (plenty of width). Anyone considering selling anything suitable?

Hmmm...might well be too tight. Also, not sure that even if I could squeeze it in, that it would like having absolutely no ventilation from the top. I'm guessing that since heat rises, top ventilation is more important than side ventilation.

Thanks for the heads-up though, this could still be an option for me if I decide it'd be easier to change the TV unit!
