plse can anyone help? I'm a 50 yr old enjoying a Toshiba 32" sound surround integrated 100hz TV.

I need advice on choosing an economical Slimline AV receiver to power Mission m3s speakers I have purchased from the guys at Empire Direct.

As this is my first foray into seperate systems, I am not too concerned about future proofing.

Thanking you in anticipation. John N.

Panasonic XR45 or XR50............ though while your not "concerned' about future proofing you may want to wait a month or so and get a Panasonic XR70 which has HDMI ablity (so far only "seen" in top end Denon's and similar)

The pannys are great sounding units well above their "price" level............ modded ones have some "audiophiles" selling off their $8000+ USD separates 2ch hi-end gear :)
