    Hi

I was in Currys the other day and noticed a new Samsung Slim CRT.

I never knew they existed. It was £499 for a 32". It was a lot slimmer than a normal CRT and only had a box bulking out at the back (difficult to describe sorry)

There was also a Sony next to it (£1699) although there was no details on it but it looked too thick to be LCD/Plasma.

Are these brand new sets? Anyone got one? Anyone know of any reviews. I've checked Currys website and its not on there but the Samsung was definately a CRT.

Just search the forums for 'samsung slimfit' for the bad news.

The set has plenty of flaws and IMO not even worth the £499 price tag.

Your better off getting the Toshiba 32ZP48 or 36ZP48.

HD programs on that TV are quite poor. I doubt it even has true HD resolution despite its claim.
