Slightly off-topic I know (but not for me as the arrival time of a large parcel of DVDs depends on the answer!) but are the Royal Mail delivering tomorrow (Good Friday)? If not is the next delivery Saturday or Tuesday?

    Thanks

My postie has informed me his intention tomorrow is to empty his sacks on my door step, lift my flap and shove his load through my box.

    That may be a threat.

Day off tomorrow, next delivery will be Saturday. Although the post service does tend to slow up at this time of year.

A quick look at their website has revealed, that, yes, the posties get tomorrow off so no delivery. Lazy lot. :)

I suppose I should have thought of doing that before posting a somewhat irrelevant post onto the forums.

Nah, its been fun this thread, eh? Wild stuff. There was nearly an argument earlier when I was wrong, or there would have been if someone had argued with me. Can't see where it can go from here, though?

urg I got a load of discs winging their way to me too.... post service around here stinks, half the time we get no mail what so ever as in a postman never even ventures along our street and then the other half it might turn up mid afternoon, unless its bulky item then maybe if I'm luckly they drop it off via a royal mail van before 8am
