Hi,

Does anyone have any thoughts on why the video play back when playing from the hard drive is a little jerky?

pc spec. 3.0ghz, 1gib of ram, x550 256mb graphics card

playing an avi file you get a slight jerkiness on slow panning

video is playback via a crt projector

Sounds like it could be refresh rate judder, try adjusting from 50hz to 60hz or vice versa.

Hi,

As Lisa says this is probably refresh rate. Have a look at the read me file that comes with the Reclock download. It gives a good explanation of what is going on. Essentially, PAL = 25 frames per secon, NTSC = 30 etc and the refresh rate needs to be a multiple of this. ie PAL, 50, 75 or 100Hz, NTSC 60Hz etc
