I've noticed that on my PV500 there is a vertical band running about 2" from the right where the picture brightness is ever so slightly darker than the rest of the screen. Its a vertical strip about an 1" wide and 2" in from the right of the screen. The stip runs from the top of the screen to the bottom. The difference in shading is very slight and only apparent ever now and then. The TV is otherwise perfect.
I'm not sure how I ever noticed it to be honest as it is very slight but now that I've noticed it I'm doing the inevitable which is looking out for it. I'm certain that there's no way any engineer would accept it as a problem as its so slight.
So, to the well informed out there is this a problem that has been noted before is there any fix?
