Hi All,

I've owned this Panasonic 40EX700B LED TV for just over a year and over the last month or so have started to notice this annoying horizontal banding going all the way across the screen in about three places. It's just a slight colour variation and only seems to be present when the shots are tilting up or down, or there is a diagonal camera move.

I first saw it on a few Netflix shows but have now seen it on a blu-ray too.

Can anyone advise what this is and if/how I can fix it?

I bought the TV from John Lewis so still have 4 years left of warranty. But I like this TV and 40" screens are becoming hard to find and don't want to change it unless I have to...

Thanks...

Hiya not sure if this helps but I purchased an LG super UHD tv last year and after several weeks started to notice horizontal banding which covered most of the screen which was worse during camera shots panning up and down. Contacted LG support with photos/video of my issues and they confirmed that my screen was faulty which they then replaced under warranty. Tv is now fixed. Perhaps this is what's wrong with your Panasonic? Hopefully you get it sorted.
