Now, I'm not sure if this is anything or maybe I'm just lloking for something that isn't there! Maybe my set up is just showing areas lacking in recordings?

Anyway, my set up is denon 2805 into AE 3B package.

I'm sure that sometimes (certain frequencies) I can hear a slight crackle from the front speakers (FL & FR) during music listening. Usually guitar or high voice.

I've tried 2 different CD sources and a HD source.

Could it be the AE fronts, my speaker cable or even the amp?

OR am I as above looking for nothing!

Is there a CD that can be bought to test frequencies (I remember from my ICE days you could for SPL testing)?

    Thanks

I had the a crackle noise with B&W M1 speakers and the 2805 with certain voices and certain volumes. Maybe its the metal tweeters they have in common? I switched speakers and never heard it again.

    Hi WSH,

    That's interesting.

What speakers do you have now?
