    Hi all

I have just bought a Celestion AVP305 5.1 system but am looking to upgrade the front speakers to a pair of nice floorstanding speakers that go with the nice design of the Celestions (e.g. metal finish not wood, slick not too massive).

Any recommendations? Would like to stick under £300.

    Thanks

    Mornin'

The only problem with the Karat floorstanders is that they cost £900 and the budget is £300.

If you wanted to push your limit, you might consider the Canton CD100 floorstanders, they are very sleek and silver have a look on our AV-SALES website. If you are localish you could come for a demo.

Tehy are very expensive, I was thinking of buying them in German Net shops, but even then floorstander models are still expensive...

Look for a Kef Q4, available in silver... or Q1 or Qcompact bookshelf models.

    Thanks

Will check out the Cantons, MS, and Kefs. The others are a bit too expensive.

I can't find anywhere that does the Celestion AVP305s in glass.

The Celestion AVP305s in glass have just been launched I believe, so it may take a little time for them to hit the retailers.
