AnandTech have done a preview of SLI using an nForce4 motherboard which has produced some stunning performance figures. I think it would be worth while waiting for the nForce4 boards to come out and then maybe buy the best GeForce card you can afford, then at a later date when they have dropped in price you can bung in another one and link them.

I agree. My next HCPC build will be an Nforce4 SLI board with a single 6600GT card. I'll then wait untill 6800GTs come down to the price level of current 9800Pros (a long wait!) and drop a pair of those in. I love the SLI concept.
    Cheers, Rob. :hiya:

Looks like SLI is going to be a big thing with PCI-E boards, ATI have announced they will be providing this as well see here
