Sleeping when recording

There's no way it should sleep while recording. Are you sure it's not a recording failure and then it goes to sleep?

Trying going into the power plan options (type power from the Start menu) and reset your current power plan to defaults.

Is Away Mode enabled? If you have MST, away mode should be set to "on application request".

It needs to be in order to prevent sleep whilst recording if somebody presses the power button. If the system is required, it will go into Away Mode when pressing power if not, it will go into normal sleep.

If you set it to "always", your system will never sleep - it will only ever use Away Mode. If you set it to "never", your system will sleep and interrupt recordings.
