I have a Kef PSW1000 which I bought around xmas without trying
it first. Its an OK subwoofer but it does not have any real SLAM.

I've tried the usual of settings and positioning but these have made only slight improvements.

I have a Denon 3802 with AE Evo 3's as the front pair an AE evo center on order ( beech not in stock yet )

I have 6.1 setup with 2 Tannoy MX's at the sides and 2 at the center rear.

Can anyone reccomend some subwoofers I should take a listen to
that will match my setup best. I would imagine I'm looking at £500 - £1000 range ?

Is it just me or Subwoofers way OVERPRICED for what they actually are?!?

    Thanks for any help

    Hi

In that price bracket it´s worth looking at Rel Strata III, Storms, or M&K subs such as the V125. Also worth having a look at the Power Buys Forum and the Velodyne range that is being offered (gone for the CHT15 as a replacement for my Rel Q200:D )

Hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Once Eric has checked it all out for me, it will be sent to a mate of mine who is bringing it over to Spain.:) Can´t wait!!:D

Exactly, comes in a folding flatpack kit, just like MFI.
