Except it's not working

Sky's new on-demand service, Now TV, has just landed on YouView, the Freeview based IPTV service, currently only available through the Humax DTR-T1000 PVR.

With both services only launching in July, it's good to see them getting their houses in order early on. To access the Now TV service, users will need to hit the blue Y button on the Humax remote and scroll across to the On-Demand section.

Those that are currently subscribed to Now TV will be able to jump straight in with just their log-in details but anyone wishing to take up a new subscription will need to head over to the Now TV website to sign up.

The Now TV service is currently only available for Sky Movies but other content, including Sky Sports, will be added later in the year.

Simon Creasey, Director of NOW TV, said:

“We’re delighted that NOW TV is now available on YouView and to be providing current free-to-air homes a fresh new choice,”

In actual fact, we can confirm although the App icon is indeed available for selection, the service is not currently working. How do we know? We have one sat here undergoing review. You can subscribe for that review here
