Skyone managed to surpass themselves tonight. At least during the 7:30pm Simpsons episode, and a brand new 'Enterprise' episode (which i usually tape), they managed to extend the skyone logo by adding some more text advertising the Michael Jackson interview afterwards. I guess everything has already been said about their logo madness, but this really made my blood temp. reach critical level, and it also makes me wonder what the viewing screen has in store for the future, if sky have anything to do with it.

Think i'll be taping 'Enterprise' on skyone MIX tomorrow

I agree. I first saw this yesterday while trying to watch Malcolm in the Middle. I don't usually get annoyed by the sky one logo, as it sits quite high and becomes quite "invisible" to me after a while, but that Jackson logo was beyond a joke. I'm just glad that tonight's Enterprise was a particularly awful filler episode (personal opinion only). I sincerely hope they don't continue with this madness (the logo, not Enterprise...well both ;) )
To make matters worse, it seemed like they advertised Jackson interview at the start and end of every ad break, and between programmes... WE KNOW we have to turn Sky One off at 9.00pm.

    Rant over.

I thought it was a bit rich seeing the showed 2 episodes of Enterprise the other week when the original program went out on ITV.
Dean, Enterprise is repeated tomorrow and at weekend.

    hehe.......good one

    Garrett - yeah, i'll be taping/watching tomorrow's showing

by coincedence, i was actually thinking over the past week or so of quitting my weekly lottery flutter (no opinions please :), and spending it on upgrading to Sky+ instead. After tonights annoyance, i dont think i'll bother - so sky can kiss another £10 per month off me, goodbye.

    Hi,

I two was very annoyed that the logo advertising jackson was on simsons and enterprise shows. Firstly, the jackson thing with all the bad press about MJ, maybe abusing kids, and what do sky do, put the logo on a show young kids may be watching. I just did not think it was right.

May people pay sky up to £500 per year to watch their programmes, and skyone had the arse to put on a logo to say jackson was on at 9pm, whilst running LOADS of jackson trailers in the ad breaks!, but did sky not introduce the EPG for this bloody reason, so we knew what was on next.

If they really needed the logo on the screen, surley it would be better to put it on another side, so those not watching sky1 knew it was comming on.

Or even better , I bet sky would never put it on their movie channels, and people would be rightly ****** off, sky have so much cheek put stupid things on our screen. In the morning I hope alot of people email them and phone them about ruining our tv shows. I will.

You do not expect a logo to be up on a cinema screen showing that a new film will be on next week!. But in the world of tv with state of art EPGs, sky think we are morons.

They're only going to react to people's dislikes if it starts to hurt them. Complaints have a history of having no effect.

If a few million viewers cancel their subscriptions, and tell them why, they may start to take notice. You know what to do.....

A few years ago, Sky introduced 'soft' logos onto the movie channels.

After getting through to the Sky helpdesk, I registered my complaint officially, and promised to cancel my movie package at the end of the month unless they were removed.

I think several thousand other people also called them, and after a few days, the logos were removed.

I for one will email and phone to register a complaint regarding Sky One last night......if we all do, you never know eh?

They don't get any of my money - and they aren't going to, at least until they change.

And, as for 'freeview' I suppose they are interested, not in money per se, but in viewing figures. And logo'd channels don't get mine.
