It will work in France, assuming there's a dish pointing at 28E.

You don't need a phone connection unless you have multi-room.

(Never believe anything Sky tell you!)

other than you might not get it by Christmas ? and you will have to take out a 12month sub


Do you know if my card and box would work in France? Sky say it should be connected to a phone line...
It will work anywhere that it can receive the channels from the satellite group at 28 degrees east.
When you subscribe you commit yourself to a 12 month contract, and to its terms and conditions which include having the machine connected throughout that period to a working UK telephone landline - a condition which many people ignore.
