    Hi all,

I've recently cancelled my SkyHD subscription, but i've noticed Sky Anytime still records everything in HD. Great! You may think, but when I go to watch anything I'm politely told that I do not have the correct subscription and asked to ring to upgrade.

Is there any way to get Sky anytime to record SD versions of the programmes?

    Danke!

Yep - get a Sky+ box. The box doesn't know what kind of subscription you do or don't have. And as a Sky HD box supports high definition TV, there's no way Sky are going to send SD programmes to it if they have the same Anytime programme available in HD. Alternatively, make a note of which HD channel the programme was sourced from, find that same programme on the SD equivalent, and set it to record from there into your planner.
