skyhd (amstrad) remote control - Can anyone help with problem?

I had to reset the hd remote control cause I was having issues with it but not it wont work with anything not even sky the LEDs in the remote lights up when you press something but nothing happens on sky on the tv? Do I need to call sky to get them to fix it?

Hi - I've had to move your thread to the HD sub-forum, and I don't think Sky would be interested in fixing a faulty remote control.
If you can't get it working a replacement won't cost much.

Take the batteries out, press any button for 5 secs or so. Replace batteries.

Resetting it to the factory default as listed in that thread will often cure non-working remotes. The remotes occasionally get their knickers in a twist and corrupt the code tables loaded and resetting them to default often cures this.
