    there could be a new kid on the block
    check out the cineultra on the avs forum it seems as though it has been built better than the skyworth but i dont know the price

    i found somewere in germany selling it 2,249.00 DM 698.797 GBP


    rather a bit more than the skyworth . if it is a lot better though and dos'nt break down
    :(

    i just noticed from a pic of the front that it is a dvd audio as well

    and it is made by panasonic so it should be ok

    ....but doesn`t use the sage chipset - the fundamental reason for buying the Skyworth.

    but unlike the skyworth . the image is suposed to be scaleable so may be a better match for some projectors

    i have had a look at the manual and from what i can make out it has a lot of aspect control ( just wish i could read german)

    someone also said that it does dvda i dont know whether this is true!! and it is suppose to be made by panasonic,i think i will keep my eye on this

    yep that is true .

    it allso has dts, mpeg and dd decoders
