Hi I have got two sky + boxes and one original sky box box running off two satellites. And I would like to move the original box to another room and get a third sky + box. But when I rung sky they said it is not possible to have three sky + boxes on one account as it would not let you record on the third box. Is this correct or would it work and they are just being difficult?

As far as I know SKY do allow three smartcards to be used in a single household with two of them being mirror cards however there may be something in the T&C's that over rules this in the case of SKY+.
It has to be a contractual issue or a technical issue at SKY's end since they would be quite happy to sell you a second full priced subscription and running three SKY+ units from two dishes is not an problem.

It may be worth asking the same question over here since there is a poster called Kryptonite who I believe works for SKY and has helped in matters similar to this.
