sky+ with just one feed

    anyone know if you have to have two feeds from the dish for the sky+ box to work properly as at the moment we only have one feed ? thanks : :lease:

    This has been asked many times before. A normal Sky+ install needs two feeds from the dish to operate properly. There are bits of kit out there that,apparently,will allow you to use it with just one feed.Unless there is an over-riding reason why you can't have a second cable,ie you are on a communal system, the second cable will be run at the time of install.

    cheers for the quick reply, already have sky+ box, can't put second cable up a couple of weeks, just wanted to try recording stuff just to make sure box works properly as brought box second hand.

    You can record the channel you're watching providing you have had your card enabled to allow it.
