it irritated me the more i thought about it ,when sky say there is not many people with widescreen tvs, then how come nearly all bbc,itv and channel 4 programs (some channel 5 programs) are broadcast in widescreen sure these channels have a lot more viewers but if they use widescreen why cant sky one and some of their other channels.
sorry but i feel better now for getting that off my chest

I've just ordered a Sony 32" widescreen, I currently subscribe to Sky, and I'm shocked to suddenly realise how little widescreen broadcasts Sky offer!

2 quick questions (from a newcomer):

Are the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.5 broadcasts received via the Sky Digibox in widescreen format?

What's the best magazine or website listing for satelite TV that indicate programmes that are broadcast in widescreen format?

    Any replies gratefully received.

Yes. Don't forget to set your digibox to 16:9 (easily found in 'Services Menu')

The program synopsis on the Sky program guide usually indicates.

    RDB :)
