    Quick query . . .

Sky+ PACE 3100 - Is it possible to watch your recorded programmes when the digibox is not connected to anything, but your tv?

(Why? I hear you ask - I couldn't wait so new digibox installed 5min after postie delivered and the old one still got some progs on it  )

SKY+ requires an active sat link to allow for verification of your right to use the system and by extension the continuous authorisation of the smartcard.
It is possible to keep viewing soon after the box has lost a sat lock (during a storm for example) but I don't think you will have any luck if it's been disconnected for more than an hour or so.
