    Hi all,

I am thinking of getting Sky + but need to know if it is possible to watch a Sky channel in one room while you are watching a programme that you've pre-recorded in a different room? or does the play back of pre-recorded programmes over-ride the outputs of all the TV's that you have connected to the box?

    Please help!

    Regards,

    Nope.
SKY+ has only one decoder so it can only output one decoded channel at a time.
When SKY+ is recording it is actually taking the encoded digital data straight from the second tuner to the hard drive, it only passes through the decoder when you decide to play it back and watch it.
If watching two channels at the same time is important then the "mirror" subscription and a second digibox is the better option.
