Any lip sync issues with Sky? The reason I ask is I am curretnly sticking with NTL as I understand that lip sync is less of a problem with NTL. It's noticable on my screen due to viewing the image on a 42" plasma therefore was wondering what peoples experience of this has been.

I would love to change to Sky should my worries be unwarranted.
    Cheers

As I understand it lip-sync issues are caused by the extra processing time a plasma display require to generate the picture compared to a CRT or Projection display, so the audio routed through an AV amp loses sync.
It doesn't matter if you watch a digital source via SKY or NTL or come to think of it DVD, if the audio is sent to an external amp and the plasma takes too long to create the picture you will get sync problems.
The solution is to have an AV amp that has the abilty to create an artifical delay in the audio processing so you can match it up to the delay the plasma introduces.

    As I understand it:)
