When you go into menu to view info about the film you are watching(the i button) it also tells you the format film is being shown in, eg, DD which is dolby digital, etc..... what is AD ?

Thanks mate, but what does that mean...

It means you can get an audio track describing whats going on in the film, for the blind and partially sighted. I'm not sure how you enable it though.

You can enable it in the system setup of the box by setting subtitles, etc on.
