    Hi,

This is my first post so apologies if my format is incorrect.

I have been reading the various comments on Sky+ for the past
few days as I am considering upgrading my Panasonic digibox
and requesting a mirror susbscription, but, I have been unable to
find any 'real' information on which route to go down ???

Which in your opinion is the better version of the Pace ???,
Should I buy a used version 1 or pay the £199 for the version 2
    from Sky.

There are various comments about the 'softer' image on the v2
and the reliabilty of the v1, so any help you can give this
    confused guy would really help.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Well I would go the £199 +£1 install from SKY for the version2 SKY+, while many people are having problems many others are not:) If you buy a used version1 or even a new one if you can find it the install cost will probably wipe out any saving in the purchase price.

If it is a software problem with the blurring on the version2 box then it will be fixed by PACE/SKY (Pace corrected a similar issue with their TWIN earlier this year). If it is the reported "softer" look that is a concern then you should take into account what is said on these forums but only seeing one in action and compare it to your Pana will give you the definitve answer.

Would definitely recommend the version 2. Can't really go wrong at £200 installed.

    Nicer looking box too
