Can anyone offer guidance please. I have just moved house and have workman ripping the place apart and have therefore not yet reinstalled my Sky+ box. We are living with relatives who don't have Sky and I am keen to watch some of the programmes I had recorded previously on the hard drive. Can I just plug it in to a TV with the scart lead or will the machine not like having a lack of LNB inputs. Also will it try to reset itself when I power it up again?? It has been off the mains for a week.

Any advice would be gratefully received

No, you must have a connection to the satellite to play Sky+ recordings.

When it starts up again, normally everything on the hard disk is retrieved.\
