    Hi all

I have subscribed to sky and they'll install it in a couple of weeks.
I'm not sure what box they'll install as it's part of the £1 "free box and dish" deal.
Which box sould i request for?
Is it pace, panasonic or amstrad.

    pls advise.

    Shaz

The £1 offer does not give you a choice.
When the installer arrives his job sheet will have the make of box already filled in.

You might if you are lucky get him to give you another, it will depend upon how he feels/what stock he has got in the van etc.
I wouldn't count on getting anything other than what you are allocated.

On the plus side there isn't any real difference in the mpegII decoding within digiboxes which is THE main requirment.
    Take a look here.......

The £1 online offer are new boxes.
The £10 offer in newspapers and being offered at markets/booths in town are reconditioned, says so in the small print :)
