    Hello again.

Can anyone recommend any good places where I can view Sky Tv and I can actually see the programmes that I'll typically watch at home and can I switch between channels?

It would also be nice to go somewhere and just have a play myself at leisure where they'll just leave you alone.

    Thanks
    Andrew

You need a higher end retailer with a demo room - Sevenoaks Sound & Vision, Richer Sounds.

I doubt they'll have Sky though, more likely an aerial, a Blu-Ray player. Perhaps if you have Sky Go you could ask if you could stream from an iPad - although that tech is way beyond me!

The expectation will be that you'll buy the TV from them though and it may cost more than Amazon etc ;)

Thanks, I'll have to go and pay a visit.

We very rarely watch anything other than Sky hd & sd so the demo's they continually show look very nice but in reality they are worthless and I cannot take in a blu ray.

I briefly had a look at John Lewis a few days ago and they did have a demo room and it did look like that they had an actual tv channel on, I suppose if it looked okay on freeview with an aerial then Sky should equally look just as good.

It would be nice to be able to sample some football and tennis.

Download some onto a USB if you can and take it for a demo :) Do not overlook plasma if you are watching sport

I'm not familiar with a method of putting it on an usb, I'll have a look on google.

You say not to overlook a plasma, we presently own a Pioneer Kuro pdp428xd, maybe I should start a new thread. Haha
