Just had a massive hailstorm/thunderstom and the screen is showing "No Satellite Signal Being Recieved" (Sky+).

If I turn the box off and on at the mains to reset it will I lose the recordings on the hard drive? Is there a way to reset without losing the recordings?

    Thank you

Turning the box off and on won't lose you the recordings. Heavy rain often causes the signal to be lost. Give it a few minutes then try again.

Wait until the Thunderstorms have passed then 10 mins after try again. If you still get "No Sat Signal" then preform a soft reset. This entails unplugging the Sky Digibox at the power supply. Plugging it back in and the redlight appearing on the box. Waiting 60 sec with the box on standby ie just the red light on. Then switching back on the box after this. You should not lose the contents of your HD if performed correctly.
