Just after a bit of advice....as im not familiar with the terminology of what I need to ask for/do.

Got a Panny Sky Digi box, and want to go from this through my Sony DAV SC5 surround system and then finally into the RGB on my TV. The Sony only has one scart socket on it, and im not sure how I should connect the Digi box to it to get the best results.

    Any ideas?

Also, will this mean to watch Sky I will have to have the Sony system turned on?

    Regards,

    :hiya:

I've got a Sony SC5 myself, and a Panny Sky Digital Box.

The Sky box has in and out SCART sockets.

I run a SCART from the SC5 to the Sky Box, then from the Sky Box to the TV. Picture quality remains excellent from the SC5 and no you don't have to have the Sky Box on to use the SC5.
