    Hi folks,

I used to have Sky until a while back when I cancelled the subscription and sold off the box.

Now the missus wants it back and I want to check something about the subscriptions.

I'm intending to purchase a non subsidised box and then get a viewing card for the relevant package.

As the only thing I'll be getting from Sky is the viewing card, does this subscription still carry a minimum one year term? Given that I was a previous customer do you think they would make an exception if this is the case?

    All comments gratefully received.

The one year contract is only for a subsidised box on a single box setup - no need to sign up for another year
