    Hi All,

Currently looking at moving from my Freeview box to Sky+ and I've got a question regarding the subscription if anyone can help.

I'm not really interested in the movie/sport channels, so thinking of going for the Family Pack of all the 'basic' channels. That leaves me in the position of having to pay £10 per month for the Sky+ subscription.

Is it possible to not pay this subscription and forego some of the Sky+ features, and is so which features will I be left with i.e. will I still be able to record to the HD?

    Cheers

It'll just be a basic digibox, although you'll still have the optical digital output.

Which is of little more use than analogue phonos if you don't subscribe to the movie channels. Movies 1/2/3 and occasionaly Disney are the only channels to output DD

For 18 months of Sky+ subs you could buy a twin tuner Freeview PVR

I have a Pace Twin - it is invaluable - so get a Freeview PVR
