New to this Sky lark. (analogue last time i subscribed)

freeview suits me to the ground with me Nokia. BUT SKY + and the football seems tempting. Video binned as the missus can't use it properly anway sounds great. New Silver box instead. The features of Sky + seem quality and i want the football, so has any body any advice, ie.-

1 - Who to buy from (Sky or Other)

2 - Packages available and prices

anything useful will help as i know nothing of this subject and i am trawling the net now

SKY offer the SKY+ for £199 and just £1 installation assuming it's only a basic installation that's required.
You will be very hard pressed to find anyone else capable of doing a deal with installation for the same price.

Since you have never had a SKY Digital subsidised install you still qualify for the £1 deal for the standard digital service, go that route first then a month or so later add SKY+.

SKY's website shold give you more details and package info etc.
