Sky sports HD

Guys, can someone settle this, im getting conflicting information.
I currently subscribe to sky sports 1 (and not the other sports channels)
If i join sky HD - will i get sky sports 1 HD?

You should do yes.

My understanding is that you will get HD for the channels you currently subscribe to, but that's only what I've seen on here.

From the sky FAQ;

You will be able to watch three HD channels without any subscriptions: BBC HD, Channel 4 HD and Luxe TV HD. To watch these HD channels you will need a Sky+HD box and an HD ready TV (a valid viewing card is required for Channel 4 HD). You need to subscribe to Sky TV and the HD Pack to enjoy all the HD channels in Sky’s Entertainment Packs and access a collection of on demand high definition programmes with Sky Anytime TV. Customers who take either Sky Movies or Sky Sports will also receive the HD versions of their respective subscription channels, if available.
