    Hi all

I have had sky for about 10 years now, and have finally had enough of the price hikes.

My current subscription is for the Family pack and sports @ £31pm
    (rising to £33pm)

The only channels we really watch are the sports, UK gold and Music channels.
We can do without soap opera repeats:rolleyes:

    So - My question :-

Is it possible to dump the family pack and subscribe only to the sports channels as a stand alone package...... and still receive the freeview channels as well?

No. A sky Digibox can't give "Freeview". That's the digital terrestrial package. People are forever getting confused with this.

But your Digibox will give the "Free To View" (FTV) channels as long as it has a valid viewing card, regardless of what you are subscribing to. That should include ITV, ITV2, CH4, FIVE etc. Even without a card it will give ALL the BBC channels, including all regional variants, since these are "Free To Air" (FTA).
