Has anyone else had their SKY+ box updated to allow the second picture output options? This upgrade was done for non SKY+ boxes a couple of months ago. Mine has been done but does not seem to be working?

Anyone else got this working? Did you use the 2nd RF socket?

This system is only for people using the TVlink system and it does not mean SKY+ can output two different ratios at the same time, the ratio (4:3, 16:9 or 4:3 Letterbox) will be the same on all outputs.
If you control the SKY+ from another room via the RF2 TVlink then the picture ratio automatically switches to the setting you have selected in the menu. If you control the SKY+ directly via it's main IR sensor then it selects the primary picture ratio.

    Starburst,

Doh! Thinking about it on the way home last night, and this is no good for me. My system no longer uses the sky eye, I have an IR repeating system that allows my to control any IR equipment in my AV rack from any room in the house.

Oh well, one up side is that I told the wife she will need to replace our old 4:3 tvs with LCD widescreens. :rotfl:
