I'm planning on popping in to Curry’s tomorrow as my girlfriend is going to shell out on sky. I've resisted all these years until now due to the thieving nature of sky, but shes fed up of only 4 channels so shes stumpping up!

Anyway a few questions regarding Sky+ Curry’s are doing free installation of sky, plus dish, digi box, etc if you subscribe to sky world at £38 per month which you can downgrade after a month. I was thinking of getting Sky+ which is £250 + £50 installation. So I will be left with a spare digi box, I don't want to relocate it to another room and pay another £15 per month to use it so what can be done? Will sky take it back and give me some cash for? Or am I getting in to the realms of fantasy!?

Come to that is it worth going in to Curry’s at all or is it better just to order from sky.com?

personally I would bypass currys etc try ringing sky

surely they do a first time sky customer sky+ deal

hold on that makes sense so they probably do not

a while ago I wanted a second normal box and the price they quoted me for it was outragous

If you get sky+ you have to pay an additional £10 p/m on top of the £38 p/m

sky+ is pretty cool mind you

You can have the digibox relocated and use a free FTV smartcard which will give you a number of channels that do not require a subscription.

Here is some listings for FTA and FTV (free channels) on SKY D....FTA/FTV
