    Hi simple question hopefully.......

When I get sky+ installed and say i have a problem wherby the hardware fails contained in the box/receiver can i just plug one of the dish inputs into my old digibox and continue without the + features or is there something more scientific that needs to be done to allow this?

    Cheers

Yes, although you'll need to give Sky a call to pair your viewing card to the temporary digibox, otherwise you won't be able to watch anything except FTA channels (BBC are controlled FTV not FTA).

Can't envisage the Sky+ unit failing that catastrophically though, it may crash sometimes, but it is £700 worth of (subsidised) hardware you know!

    Hope this helps ;)
