Is the only difference between Sky+ and Sky+ 160 the size of the hard disk?
With an online price of £89 for Sky+ and £299 for Sky+ 160, it would be MUCH cheaper to stick a big hard disk in the £89 Sky+.
    What do you think?

The 160 box also has 2 USB ports for 'future enhancements'.

It's certainly cheaper to get a standard box and then upgrade but it depends on the box you get as it appears, from info on the forums, that the Amstrads are more temperamental when it comes to HD upgrades.

The 160 box is made by Thomson, and allegedly has problems with the optical sound output.
