Sky signal quality help

I've got a Amstrad DRX890 and I had a Zinwell quad lnb. Signal and quality was always around 90-95% input 1 and 80-90% on input 2.

The Zinwell developed a fault, so I thought I'd try a Black Unltra twin low noise lnb.

On the hd channels I get full signal and quality on both inputs. But on some sd channels input 1 signal is 100% and quality is 60%~ and input two is 95%. Whys this

The weather is very wet today where I am. But the only channel I had problems was Sony TV, but all others have been fine.

AFAIK the Black Ultra is not designed for an oval sky minidish.

Oh ooops. Why would the two inputs be different? Wouldn't they both be low if it didn't work?

Difference in LNB output levels.
Difference in cables.
Difference in tuner performance.
Something weird happening because you've used the wrong type of LNB on a minidish.
