Sky+ self install

Hi all

I currently have sky with sky sports package.I have bought a quad LNB.If i buy a sky+ box and run another cable next to my existing cable myself can i just phone up sky and get my card matched to my sky+ box and have sky + with all the features ie recoreder etc,without sky coming out to my house or having a phone line connected.

You'll need a quad-output LNB if you have a minidish. See
