I would like to control all of the sky signal through my AV amp but to do this I can use either S-video or component. Sky + only has RGB or SVideo right now & going thru the amp but I'd like to use component instead for a better picture. If I get a RGB to component convertor and put that into the AV amp, will the quality be as good or almost as good as using straight RGB ?

I hope this is clear !!

    Ravi,

I have the JS Tech RGB to Component box, the quality is superb. Don't have any concerns switching RGB to Component using this box.

    Kind Regards

Search in the Plasma forum for RGB to Component and you will find a lot of input about the best device.

JS Tech RGB to Component is £150.
