Sky+ RF2 Question

    Do you know if it's possible to monitor the output from the second tuner when nothing is being recorded? I'd like to be able to watch 2 different channels simultaneously using PIP on my telly.

    Although the box has two tuners, the output of these tuners is an encrypted data stream that goes either to the hard disk or to the display.

    The display hardware in the current version of the Sky+ box can only decrypt a single data stream at a time - so only one TV out at a time I'm afraid.

    Does anyone know what is sent to the RF2 output on the Sky+ box?

    Same as the RF1 but it also has the 9v supply to allow control from another room using Sky's digital eye thingy (can't remember what it is called). The RF2 is a great way of feeding a (mono) Sky signal to another place in the house.
